Shipping Instructions

Animal must be skinned prior to shipping; the neck needs to be severed between the skull and the first vertebrae. Make sure this is done with a knife, not a saw, so it doesn't damage the skull. Skulls also must reach us within 3 days of being shipped; keep this in mind when using a shipping method.
  1. Place skull in 2 plastic bags
  2. Wrap the bagged skull in newspaper
  3. Freeze solid, for at least 3 days
  4. Place in adequate cardboard box, stuff with newspaper or other packing material
  5. Make sure your business name and other pertinent information we need is packed on the box or in the box
  6. Call or email to let us know to expect the shipment, also so we can notify you that the package has arrived
  7. Other information needed, name, address and phone number of person who harvested the animal or taxidermy license number if you are a licensed taxidermist
  8. If the skull required a tag or license when it was harvested, it must accompany the skull, or you must supply the tag or license number and the date and location of harvest
  9. In cases where the skull has been found dead, it must be accompanied with paper work from the appropriate agency stating that you have legal possession
  10. Return shipping not included in the price of the skull
